I really wanted to give them a chance so I took my cat FOUR times in the past two months for an upper respiratory infection that they never actually treated successfully. Their prices are cheap but unfortunately the care is subpar. I ended up spending way more money for all the follow up visits and my cat is still sick. I also called several times and left messages asking to speak to the Vet and no one called back. I took my cat to a reputable Vet today (Chevy Chase) and they had to start my cat on fluids (she had a fever), give her an antibiotic injection and a steroid. This is after TWO months that Afford-a-Vet provided “care” to her. Yes, you will save money going here BUT your animals WILL NOT get better! I am considering filing a complaint with the Board. This place should be out of business.
The best doctor's,my coco has been with them since 9mts old,she is 10 now.god bless and Merry Christmas.coco and I love you all
My girls been going there since I got my 1st dog on 2018, when she got ear infection. They were the 1st vet that cured Lady. Ever since then I been taking 2 of my dogs there. The prize is always right.
Prices have definitely increased from what I have seen and heard from others as well but that is beyond their control. I usually stick to low cost clinics because I feel like they don't treat you or your pet like some price tag they can …
I needed a rabies antibody test done on my dog to travel to the EU and they were going to charge me well over $250 for it. I called the more "posh" vet in town and they only charged $150. The service was not great and they were very slow to …
So my 4 month old puppy that I inherited is a little rambunctious and all the staff was very patient and friendly. They were very informative and explained everything very well considering I don't know a lot about animals.
They are always so nice, give great care, and explain the bill before the work gets done
This is ABSOLUTELY hands down the best vet clinic in town. I PERSONALLY have known the vet tech for 30 years and would just my pets with her. Their facility is always clean, staff always professional and punctual, and very friendly. One …
Friendly staff, good with pets. Some things are still costly due to the nature of the visit but they will tell you the cost up front. So, you do not ha e to do it. Otherwise, a good place to take your pet. On a side note, do not be a jerk or jerket if you are unhappy. Politely express yourself, settle your bill, and leave. It is insane they have to put a sign up like in my picture because or jerkaholics. You do not have to come back if you are unhappy.
Everyone is so nice and it really is affordable. I took 2 doggos and it was only $187!
